
gespag is the largest Upper Austrian Hospital operator and currently has 10 hospitals at 11 locations. Since FI CO for accounting, MM and pharmacy management (APM) for materials management have been implemented gespag is one of our largest customers. In 2008, the catering management system VPM has been implemented successfully in two pilot project kitchens as a supplement for materials management. By the end of 2009 all kitchens of gespag hospitals will be using SAP VPM. IS-H billing enables a simple and secure communication with statutory and other health insurers. At the beginning of 2009 the integration of SAP HCM into the billing system of Land Upper Austria and the existing duty roster on duty has been realized. Currently, systema's SAP specialists are working on the implementation of an outpatient and inpatient patient administration system.
The Lower Austrian Regional Hospital Holding has 27 hospital locations where more than 19,000 employees provide top-quality care for approximately 385,000 patients per year. This makes the Holding one of Austria's largest healthcare providers. 2009 the SAP rollout of FI CO, MM, APM, and IS-H has been finalized successfully. The integration of IS-H billing enables communication with statutory and other health insurers as well as with existing HIS systems. At the beginning of 2011, the rollout of SAP as business administration solution has been successfully completed in all 27 regional hospitals.
In addition to a central computing center, with SAP FI CO an up-to-date accounting system has also been centrally implemented. It is used by all Lower Austrian Nursing Homes, for GS7 department of Land Lower Austria is responsible. With the launch of the material logistics software SAP MM and SAP APM as well as the kitchen organization system SAP VPM all requirements regarding materials, pharmacy demand and necessary menu planning can be met electronically. The rollout of logistics modules was finalized at the end of 2008.
