SAP Accounting (FI, CO, AA, IM)

Accounting is the "centerpiece" of the entire SAP module landscape. All logistics systems and the patient billing system IS-H send their transaction data as material documents, outgoing invoices, incoming invoices and services online to accounting and controlling. It is of critical importance that accounting modules are integrated optimally into upstream areas. Our long-standing experience in this area and comprehensive knowledge of processes in healthcare facilities enable us to provide our customers with an optimal overall solution.

Our activities range from analysis of actual processes, establishment of target concepts, integration of legacy data and realization of all administrative functions which are adjusted to the needs of each customer.

Our SAP accounting team attends to the following sections

  • Financing

With central accounting, accounts receivable accounting, and accounts payable accounting all requirements of internal and external accounting can be covered. Your scheduled and executed investments which need to be capitalized can be illustrated optimally with the SAP AA (Asset Management) and SAP IM (Investment Management) modules. The complete integration into modules MM and FI provides decisive advantages for the user and in handling business processes.

  • Controlling

The general controlling functionalities are cross-linked with financial accounting which immediately transfers all data relevant for cost accounting immediately to controlling.

Standard functions are represented by classic cost center and cost-type accounting. As the detailed analysis of costs and revenues becomes ever more important in companies you may cumulate and check costs for certain measures in internal orders.

With Profit Center accounting costs and revenues of company units can be illustrated separately. Profit Center accounting is a special accounting function in SAP Controlling and is operated in addition to actual billing for statistical reasons.

Especially for hospitals systema developed add-on solutions which enable cost-accounting reports in accordance with the requirements of the hospitals cost-accounting provisions.

SAP Logistics (MM, APM, PP, VPM, and SD)

It is our aim to provide our customers in healthcare optimal software support for logistics processes.
We implement SAP MM not only with standard functionalities of a material logistics software but also create an integrated logistics solution with our customers. With sector-specific additional software programs this solution optimally supports the user.

The SAP APM (Pharmacy Management) module covers all processes of ward supply and provide pharmacists with specific data such as agent information. This independent add-on solution of SAP Austria is custom-tailored to the needs of hospitals and completely integrated into SAP material logistics. The connection to production planning enables not only the integration of make-to-stock production and production according to formulations but also supports the batch function and use of material planning. For pharmacy production we exclusively use master data and functions of the SAP PP (Production Planning) module. Special software solutions such as programs for cytostatic drugs may be integrated into inventory management via interfaces.  

Modified basic conditions in hospitals and clinics also require the use of up-to-date IT solutions in large kitches. With the SAP VPM (Catering Management) module, which is integrated into the SAP environment, we are able to meet this requirement. A direct connection with material logistics ensures complete integration into existing purchasing and inventory management.

In order to support the rising demand with regard to computerized illustration of distribution processes - be it the combined supply of other hospitals or sales to external customers - we use functionalities of the SAP SD distribution modules, partly in combination with B2B connections.

SAP Patient Management (IS-H)

SAP IS-H (Industrial Solution Healthcare) is the sector-specific solution for hospitals.  It is our task to analyze business processes in order to define target processes for optimal processes in hospitals.
