The systema IT-Helpdesk supports employees of the Salzburg Regional Hospitals (SALK) in all questions related to information technology.
The approximately 400 different software products which are used by the Regional Hospitals, require expert knowledge. About 65% of the problems can be solved immediately via phone. All inquiries are precisely documented. If a problem cannot be solved right away - a hardware problem, e.g. - it is forwarded to the support unit and a technician takes care of the problem. A clarification of status is possible anytime via hotline. Besides quick and targeted assistance, the IT helpdesk is responsible for the entire user system and all user access rights.
Serviced units include the Regional Hospital Salzburg, the Christian Doppler Clinic, the Regional Hospital St. Veit, a hospital branch at the Oberndorf Hospital and the University of Applied Sciences at Urstein with more than 5.000 users.
